Our mission is to empower women to look and feel as fierce as a Sherni (lioness) - a powerful feminine force. We want you to feel your most exquisite self with every ensemble you wear.

Trish founded Sherni London in 2016, supplying unstitched Punjabi suits to a growing client base. A year later, shopping for her own bridal ensemble left her feeling anxious and demotivated as she struggled to find her size in sample pieces, and had negative experiences; being ignored or even refused service. 

Speaking to her clients and friends, Trish realised she wasn’t alone in this experience. Throughout the years she and so many other women in the Asian community had also come to expect being body shamed and dreaded shopping. 

After high demand, Trish launched a ready to wear range which catered for sizes 8 to 26, and later began creating made to measure party-wear ensembles.

Whilst on maternity leave in 2021, bespoke bridal wear (under the sub-brand Trish Kaur Couture) was born, and Trish has had the privilege to work with many brides from all walks of life to make their dreams come true.

Throughout the years, the ethos of Sherni London has always been a strong focus on personal, outstanding customer service and quality, in an inclusive, non-judgemental environment.

Trish has also spread the message of body positivity on podcasts and in media publications, and advocated the need for a luxury experience for all, no matter the size, age or background.

Fashion is a way of expressing ourselves, allowing our true personality to shine through. Our aim is to ensure that you look as fierce on the outside as you are on the inside, and wear your Sherni London ensembles with confidence, power and above all - self-love.
